Exercises for Lean and Healthy Legs

A sexy stomach and tight abs aren’t the only thing that women want when they put on a tight summer outfit. It is everybody’s dream to have healthy, strong, lean and sexy legs. They should be strong because our legs are the backbone of our bodies, walking us through daily life.

There are many kinds of exercises that can help you get a pair of stronger, slimmer legs; but it takes more than just the typical cardio and weight exercises to get a pair of lean and sexy stems. There are two types of exercises that have proved to be efficient in getting your legs in shape. Bear in mind that you have to work out your body as a whole before you start sculpting a particular area.

Plies are one of those exercise movements that we often see and hear about when a person practices ballet. But of course, it’s not only meant for dancers. Plies are the best exercise to tone up the outer and inner thighs, and you can adjust them to your workout as you like. Piles won’t be too much stress on your joints, and they work well when you are able to learn to pull your pelvic and thigh muscles as you do the movement slowly.

Lunges are another one of the most well-known exercises to work out your legs as a whole. Start by standing with your feet slightly apart, then take one big step forward and lower yourself straight down with your knee bent at a 90 degree angle. Make sure your knee does not touch the ground, come back up and repeat with the other leg. Incorporate this move into your cardio or exercise routine, and your legs will be sculpted in no time.
